Martina McGarrel

With over 35 years of podiatry experience, Martina brings exceptional expertise and dedication to patient care. Beginning her career in the NHS, she specialised in high-risk diabetic patients, complex ulcers, and biomechanics, helping develop satellite clinics and specialist referral pathways.

Martina has a particular interest in podopaediatrics, children’s gait analysis, and nail surgery, for which she is highly regarded across Northern Ireland. Her calm, reassuring approach helps patients feel at ease, particularly those anxious about treatment.

Today, Martina leads and mentors the Fit Feet Podiatrists team, ensuring exceptional standards of care. Outside work, she enjoys swimming, travelling, family time, and gardening.
